We Are Alive, I Swear.

The past month has been crazy. We had two sets of grandparents visiting and were dealing with all kinds of illnesses due Ace going to daycare and me returning to work. Don’t worry, the hubby hasn’t gotten sick once (gah!). Blogging and exercise have certainly taken a back seat to the day-to-day necessities. I am lucky if I run once a week. Even weekends are filled with getting as much work and chores done to make the weekdays go smoothly, in addition to trying to have as much fun family time as possible. Quite the balancing act, I tell you.

In the spirit of weekend busyness, here are some baby pictures with captions. There is just not enough time today with doing laundry and trying to organize the fam to go to a restaurant to watch the Broncos (in other words we are taking the baby to a bar, a first for us) to sit around and do any actual writing. Hope your weekend has been busy and fun filled too! Go Broncos!

Walking around the block. Love our after work/school walks together. Ace is getting better and better at long distances.

Probably the first time in 3 years my husband has stepped foot in the mall. No joke.

Toddlerhood is starting to get messy. Dirt and mud have no place for you son. Just say no.

Peek-a-boo never fails to entertain. Please note the baby-proofing lock hanging from the door knob. Ace doesn't take too well to being kept out of a room.
